Un volume in-12 (167x105 mm), frontispice, 175-(1 bl.) pages. reliure : Cartonnage bradel du dix-neuvième siècle, un peu frotté. Anciennes restaurations à la première garde volante. Mouillure sans gravité en haut des pages. Deux galeries de vers mineures, dont une touchant le texte sur l'ensemble du volume.
Seconde édition de cet ouvrage de Christoph Heinrich Keil, publié pour la première fois en 1736.

La première partie de cet ouvrage est composée de 348 postulats philosophiques, suivis d'une explication des termes mythologiques en alchimie. La seconde partie est composée d'extraits de divers auteurs, dont plusieurs poèmes.
