LivresAnciens.com is Eric Zink Antiquarian Bookseller's website.
Eric Zink received his master's degree in mathematics from the University of Paris VII in 1999. He worked as an engineer in automotive industry for a few years.
His love for history of science and for rare books led him to create his antiquarian bookshop in 2009.
We buy and sell all kinds of rare books, from illuminated manuscripts of the14th century to the first edition of Harry Potter and major texts about the history of science and ideas.
We are always interested in buying rare books, libraries as a whole or important books.
Established in Le Vésinet - FRANCE since 2012, we are proud of the trust placed by our clients (famous or discreet bibliophiles, universities such as Harvard or Stanford, the Paris Medicine Library...).
As a member of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers, we take part in international bookfairs, and issue one catalogue per year.
Our logo is taken from a page of Albumasar:
De magnis conjunctionibus, 1489. A rare incunabula on astrology with more than 200 woodcuts.
To cope with our growth we opened an antiquarian bookshop in 2017 at Le Vesinet.
Since 2020, Sébastien Vatinel has joined our team.
He allows us to ensure a better presence of Eric Zink Rare Books in the South-West of France where he works.
Doctor of Science, after a career in biomedical research, Sébastien enters the world of ancient books. After 10 years as independent bookseller, he joined our bookshop to strengthen our competences in Sciences.
In 2024 we opened our new antiquarian bookshop in Paris, in the heart of the Latin Quarter, opposite the Sorbonne, at 52 rue des Ecoles.
