In total, 25 plates. binding : Contemporary full sheep, spine gilt in seven compartments, title and volume number in gilt on lettering-pieces, marbled edges. 1 corner and 4 caps chipped. Bindings rubbed. Foxing on few pages. One double leaf (p. 5 à 8) of part 4 is detached but present.

Jean-Jacques Manget (1652-1742) was a Genevan doctor and publisher of scientific works.
This book is a compilation of articles, classified in alphabetical order, which deals with the surgical approach to the treatment of diseases. Manget relied on ancient authors and his contemporaries.
