This mid-19th century edition begins with chapters on physiognomy and palmistry, before moving on to the making of talismans, then dealing with natural magic, folk remedies and necromancy.
This edition by Bonaventure has the particularity of placing the figure of Véronique's Veil on the frontispiece.
