Corners chipped and rubbings. Spine faded. Worms's works with lack of letters on volume 9 and without lack on volume 8. A tear without lack of paper on pages 243 of volume 1 and 663 of volume 2. Very few waterstains.
François Boissier de Sauvages was a French doctor and botanist (1706-1767). He is known to be the founder of nosology thanks to the publication of his major work "Nosologia methodica" in 1771.
Nosology became a new field of medical research, which consists of the study of the general principles of disease classification.
