The first book deals with rabies hydrophobia, which is one of the symptoms of the terminal phase of rabies.
The second is the treaty on limewater and quicklime by Charles Alston (1685-1760), who was physician, botanist, and professor at the Royal College of Medicine in Edinburgh.
A very good copy.
