First edition. Work devoted to the Plague whose author defends that it would be due to the corrosive action of saline vapors (such as Arsenic or Mercury). It comes to contradict certain position of the Englishman Thomas Willis on this subject. Europe and more particularly England then just experienced an epidemic of the Great Plague.
