Historical and archaeological study on the "Maison forte" of Villetertre, which was a fortified defence point for the Kingdom of France against the Duchy of Normandy. It was built at the end of the 12th century and was destroyed by the English in 1418, after the Battle of Azincourt. The remaining ruins were demolished in 1922. The book contains reproductions of two drawings of the keep (north face and west face, in its 18th century state), two plans of the keep (ground floor and first floor), a view of a window in its 1919 state and its restitution drawing.
