This booklet is a commercial catalog for French dentists, to explain the proper use of "La Porcelaine Synthetic de Trey" also called "Syntrex". This new product is a cement with zinc oxyphosphate of great efficiency for the time.
The well-known DeTrey & Company, was and still is specialized in the manufacture of dental prostheses and dental equipment. It was one of the largest specialist manufactures in this field, and contributed to the research and development of the Dental Art of the time.
This booklet is not only commercial, but also allowed practitioners to self-evaluate the use of "Syntrex", with two columns "A line if your method is correct" or "A cross if your method is incorrect "on each page, in front of the different stages of use.
