The front cover is decorated with the golden coat of arms of the city of Paris, with its motto written in a ribbon: "Fluctuat nec mergitur". This is surmounted by the motto of the French Republic in gilt: "Liberty-Equality-Fraternity". Loosing binding. Chipped corners. Some foxing.
