Two works in one 8vo (20.2x12.7 cm), (4)-248-(4) pages / 73-(1 bl.) pages and one folding table. binding : Bound in later half black calf, flat spine. Binding slightly rubbed. Librarystamps. Spotting mainly on the second work. A small lack at the lower corner of the title page of the second work.
"Fodéré considered cretinism to be due to the concentrated air in deep valleys, rather than to water. He also drew attention to the skeletal changes". (Garrison).
